HUMANITIES-BASED APPROACH IN HUMAN TRAFFICKING PREVENTION THROUGH CLEARANCE IN- OUT OF MARINE TRANSPORTATION AGENCY

Abstract

Pertamina Trans Kontintental is a company that handles Pertamina port agency activities regarding loading and unloading, especially ships operating under Pertamina in the management of in-out clearance of Pertamina agency ships at Pontianak Port. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of PT. Pertamina in preventing human trafficking through the clearance out of marine transportation agencies. This research method uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, or documentation. The results showed that the efforts made by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Pontianak Branch in preventing human trafficking by properly optimizing clearance in and out systems and procedures at Pontianak Port. Optimization of activities carried out starting from handling the application for ship arrival at the office to re-applying the departure of the ship to the office) for the application for the issuance of a sailing approval letter.
