Abstract

Multimodal transportation is a potential solution to overcome various transportation problems in Indonesia. An effective multimodal transportation management system requires synergy between various stakeholders. This research aims to review the literature on synergy between stakeholders in building an effective multimodal transportation management system. A qualitative descriptive approach analyzes data from various sources, such as scientific journals, books, research reports, and government documents. Multimodal transportation systems have great potential to help reduce logistics costs, increase operational efficiency, and provide better services to the logistics industry in Indonesia. By utilizing the right combination of transportation modes, logistics companies can gain a competitive advantage and increase competitiveness.
