Abstract

Loading of sack cement using a crane often causes problems. Researchers found one of them at the TUKS Port of East Java. This research was conducted at the Gresik East Java sack cement loading and unloading company. The object of this research was carried out on a ship owned by the Gresik East Java Loading and Unloading Company, which arrived on February 10 to February 16, 2023, at the TUKS Semen Gresik Port, East Java. This study found that the factors for delays in loading/unloading sack cement were divided into 5, including weather factors that affected 7 hours of cement loading. As a result, the waiting time for goods was 7 hours 20 minutes, so the total lost time during rest was 13 hours. The total lost time when loading equipment was damaged was 7 hours, and the total lost time on the performance of the Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) was 7 hours and 25 minutes. These factors significantly affect the amount of cement loading in the company. The most influential is the TKBM rest factor because it takes time for TKBM to clean themselves and treat their bodies due to cement grains sticking to their bodies.
