Abstract

Pompa kargo pada kapal kapal tasnker adalah sesuatu  yang sangat penting dan menentukan dalam rangka memperlancar operasi kapal, terutama dalam proses bongkar muat baik di terminal maupun transfer antara kapal dengan kapal. Jika  terjadi sesuatu pada cargo pump maka proses bongkar muat dan juga operasional kapal bisa terganggu atau berubah dan biaya semakin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa gangguan pada pompa kargo yang menhambat kinerja pompa. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan cara obervasi dan wawancara pada masisnis kapal MT Martha Option, Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gangguan pada Pompa Kergo anatara laon; Kebocoran pada mekanikel sil, Adanya kebocoran isapan, Dalam pompa masih terdapat udara; Jumlah putaran pompa dibawah ketentuan (terlalu kecil).;Putaran pompa tidak setabil; Keausan komponen    

 

Abstract

Cargo pumps on task force vessels are very important and decisive in order to facilitate ship operations, especially in the loading and unloading process both at the terminal and transfers between ships and ships. If something happens to the cargo pump, the loading and unloading process as well as ship operations can be disrupted or changed and the costs will increase. The purpose of this study was to analyze the disturbance in the cargo pump that hinders the pump's performance. The research method is a qualitative research by observing and interviewing the ship's machinist MT Martha Option. The results showed that the disturbance in the Kergo Pump was between the others; Leaks in the mechanical seal, There is a suction leak, There is still air in the pump; The number of pump revolutions is below the limit (too small).;The pump speed is not stable; Component wear
