MANAJEMEN KEAMANAN KAPAL, PELABUHAN DAN PENERAPAN ISPS CODE UNTUK MENUNJANG KEAMANAN PELAYARAN
Implementing security management of ships and port facilities requires ship and port coordination. Human smuggling occurred in several incidents on the ship while sailing from one country to another the MV Ken Wave from Nigeria to Brazil. There was also an incident of humans in containers in the Chittagong of Bangladesh, so it was carried to Malaysia. So in this study, two main problems arise, namely, what things are done by the ship and the port so that human smuggling does not occur, and also the second main problem is how the application of the ISPS Code on board and at the port to create a safe voyage. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data in the form of written words of sources and observed behaviour with data collection in the form of approaches to objects through observation, to subjects and documents which relates to the application of ship and port security to create shipping security. Based on the results of research conducted from several smuggling incidents on board, it can be concluded that security management should have been carried out on board or at the port so that this happened. For this reason, applying the ISPS Code should be carried out through planning, implementing, and evaluating every event that develops in connection with security threats. Both from the ship supported by its shipping company and also from the port side so that shipping security can be realized and a country's economy will also increase.
